I have been a client of Team Fitness for 2 years. I injured my knee and was referred to an orthopedic surgeon as well as a pyhsiotherapist. I was hesitant about continuing to exercise as I was concerned about further injuries. I showed a copy of the regimen that Team Fitness Designed for me to my physio therapist as well as the surgeon and they felt it was excellent. There is no doubt that as a result of the combined physio program and the Team Fitness program, my knee has been showing great improvement.

Sarah’s passion for all things health and fitness started in her high school days when she attended group fitness classes to get in shape. Ever since then her desire and thirst for knowledge continued to grow and she went on to complete a degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Sarah believes that keeping fit should be fun as well as rewarding. At Team fitness she is dedicated to delivering great results, making sure her clients are always happy and she enjoys building confidence for all beginners and athletics.  In her spare time she likes to keep active through various activities including trail running, weight training, snowboarding, yoga and curling.

Chris has been active in fitness and competitive sport for over 30 years. He played minor hockey for 12 years and continues to play on a recreational basis. He is an avid Golfer and has played both Soccer and Baseball throughout his youth. Chris quickly learned the true benefits of leading an active and healthy lifestyle at the age of 18 when he was diagnosed with a potentially debilitating disease. Health and Fitness became a necessity for him to manage his condition and improve his overall quality of life. Exercise has since become a passion for Chris and an integral part of life for both him and his family. Chris has been an active weight trainer for the past 15 years. His passion for the gym and working with people is what got him into Personal Training.

Leanne Babcock started in the fitness industry over 15 years ago. While continually instructing various fitness classes, Leanne acquired her Fitness Leadership Diploma, ACE Personal Training Certification and various other certifications over time.
Following her passion of helping people, Leanne Co-Founded a Small Personal Training Business in Fort St. John B.C., called Sweat Technologies Ltd., which is still operating successfully today by owner Kim Musselman.
Advancing her ambitions she started another business in Grande Prairie, A.B., that branched further into Competitive Fitness Training.
Leanne competed for four years winning the Alberta Overall Fitness Champion Title in 2004 and placing top six in her years of Canadian National Competition. With her success in this competitive sport, Leanne consulted over 20 other aspiring competitors who all proudly made it to a competitive level, and some of these females are still competing today!
Throughout her accomplishments and business endeavors, Leanne attended International Conferences and Seminars to keep up with the leading edge of Fitness Professionals.
Bringing her experience and enthusiasm to Team Fitness as a partner in ownership with her sister Deneen is a dream come true, along with raising her sons River and Ryder and enjoying the adventure of life with her husband Doug.

Deneen Campioni

Background

 Deneen has been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. She entered her career with a background in formal dance training, competing and performing. She was awarded full dance scholarship with Victoria Arts Collaborative and Stages Dance Company. Her skills as a certified dance teacher expanded into the fitness industry at the age of 21. She received a Diploma in Physical Education at Mount Royal College and co-founded Sweat Technologies Personal Training as well as All That Jazz Dance Studio in Fort St John B.C. Deneen developed fitness and post rehab programming for local Aboriginal Communities, competitive athletes, I.C.B.C. claimants and was the coordinator for health retreats at Spirit of the Beaton Ranch. Her desire for travel and adventure took her overseas to Manama, Bahrain as manager and head personal trainer of the Royal Sporting Club Fitness Centre. Deneen’s reputation as a skilled leader and personal trainer spread quickly through Bahrain and landed her corporate contracts with Bahrain Petroleum Company and Al Ahli Fitness Centre. She also had the privilege of being the private trainer to some members of the Al Khalifa Royal Family. On return to Canada Deneen became Health and Lifestyle Consultant for the NVRC specifically at the John Braithwaite Community centre.
